IIT JAM 2025 Exam: IIT Delhi to Conduct Exam on February 2

The IIT JAM 2025 exam date has been announced. The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) will conduct the exam on February 2, 2024. Candidates can check the exam date and other details on the official website of IIT JAM at jam2025.iitd.ac.in.

Exam Details

The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 will be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) in seven subjects:

  • Biotechnology
  • Chemistry
  • Economics
  • Geology
  • Mathematics
  • Mathematical Statistics
  • Physics

The exam will be held in approximately 100 cities across India. Candidates who have either completed or will be appearing for their qualifying degree exams in 2025 are eligible to appear for JAM 2025. There is no age restriction for applicants.

How to Register

  1. Visit the official website of IIT JAM at jam2025.iitd.ac.in.
  2. Click on the IIT JAM 2025 Exam registration link on the homepage.
  3. Enter the registration details and submit.
  4. Log in to your account.
  5. Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.
  6. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
  7. Keep a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Application Fee

  • Female/SC/ST/PwD Category Candidates:
    • ₹900/- for one test paper
    • ₹1250/- for two test papers
  • All Other Category Candidates:
    • ₹1800/- for one test paper
    • ₹2500/- for two test papers

Admission Requirements

According to the official website, qualifying in JAM 2025 allows candidates to apply for admission, provided they meet the following conditions:

  1. All parts of their undergraduate program must be completed before the admission date of the respective Admitting Institute.
  2. Proof of passing the qualifying degree with the required eligibility, as specified by the Admitting Institute, must be submitted within the timeline provided.
